There are several ways to get to the Resort which is a two minute boat trip from Lund BC. Depending on what you want to see and your budget we can work with you to make the appropriate reservations.

By Car

From Vancouver you can take a beautiful scenic drive up the Sunshine Coast to get to the Resort by Lund BC. A short drive north from Vancouver lets you catch the ferry from Horseshoe Bay to Langdale. The 40 minute ferry provides the opportunity to see Howe Sound, Bowen, Gambier and Keats Islands and lots of marine traffic including pleasure crafts, fishing boats and tug boats pulling log booms. Just after debarking from the ferry you may choose to make a quick stop at Gibson’s where you can find Molly's Reach, the restaurant from the famous TV series "The Beachcombers". From there you will continue driving up the coast to catch the second ferry from Earls Cove to Saltery Bay. This ferry takes 50 minutes and provides a great view of Jervis Inlet, Frail Falls and the Coast Mountains. From Saltery Bay you will follow the road until it ends in Lund BC where a five-minute boat trip will take you to the start of your adventure at the Resort. The entire trip from downtown Vancouver to Lund BC will take about six hours.

Coming from Vancouver Island you will take the ferry at Little River in Comox. The passage takes one hour and 15 minutes and the ferry docks in the heart of Powell River. The drive north from there to Lund takes just under 30 minutes.

By Bus

If you would like to experience the trip up the coast but would prefer not to rent a vehicle Malaspina Coach Lines (Toll Free 1-877-227-8287)  leave Vancouver (airport or downtown) twice daily. The trip takes the same route/time as driving. For guests participating in one of our week long packages we will provide transportation from the terminal in Powell River to Lund BC.

By Airline

For those looking to get here faster Pacific Coastal Airlines flies 5 to 7 flights daily from the South Terminal at Vancouver Airport to the Powell River Municipal Airport. The flight takes just under 30 minutes.   For guests participating in one of our week long package stays we will provide transportation from the airport to Lund BC, it’s about a 30-minute drive.

If the scheduled flights do not meet your ongoing/incoming connecting flights charters flights can be arranged that are similar in price for larger groups.

By Floatplane

For a truly unique experience we can arrange a private floatplane charter from Vancouver directly to the Resorts dock in Lund BC. Depending on the number of people the plane will be either a Beaver (six passenger) or a Turbo Otter (12 passengers) and will provide you with a great aerial orientation to the area. The flight will take approx. 45 minutes and will land in Lund harbor and taxi up to the Resorts private float. The cost of the Beaver and Turbo Otter are approx. C$1200 and C$2200 respectively each way.
